Thank you for visiting our web site and allowing us to introduce to you , the Confrérié de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, the world’s oldest and largest gastronomic organization. It was originally founded in 1248 as a guild of rôtisseurs (roasting chefs) for the upper class. The society was revived in 1950 by a group of dedicated culinarians and gastronomes, and now boasts members in almost every country of the world. We have members from both the professional and non-professional segments of the gastronomically-inclined population. We presently have 5,800 members throughout the U.S.
Our chapter holds both black tie and casual events throughout the year, enjoying the finest cuisine and expertly selected wines in hotels, restaurants, private clubs and private homes. We were founded in 1971 and recently celebrated our 40th Anniversary, having grown to over 70 members, all enjoying camaraderie at the table! While one of the Chaîne rules is no speeches, we do have commentary on the food and wine served.
